Milan duo not part of Amorim’s plans as summer exits touted

AC Milan duo Warren Bondo and Youssouf Fofana are reportedly available for transfers this summer as they don’t form part of Ruben Amorim’s plans.

It’s been a busy week for the Rossoneri management as various meetings have been taking place at Casa Milan with agents of players currently at the club, as Amorim begins to map out his plan for us moving forward and evaluates which players form part of it.

The expectation is that there will many comings and goings this summer as he moulds the squad into his own, and while Goncalo Ramos has already arrived in a big-money swoop, sales will no doubt be needed to help balance our books and fund further signings.

In turn, according to Daniele Longo, after a meeting with the Milan hierarchy on Thursday, Bondo’s agents were informed that he doesn’t form part of Amorim’s plans moving forward and so they will be open to selling him this summer with an asking price of €8m touted.

The 22-year-old was signed in January 2025 and spent last season on loan at Cremonese, and should he secure a move elsewhere in the coming months, he will leave having made just five appearances for Milan.

Meanwhile, according to Matteo Moretto, as per MilanNews, the club are also ready to listen to offers for Fofana as he isn’t set for an important role in Amorim’s ideas either and so time will tell if any interested parties emerge and can satisfy Milan’s demands.

It’s added that no negotiations are taking place yet and there isn’t any clarity on how much the Rossoneri might ask for to green light an exit for the Frenchman, but it seems as though his time at San Siro could also be coming to an end.

The 27-year-old arrived from Monaco in 2024 and has since gone on to score three goals and provide 13 assists in 88 appearances for Milan.

Despite his tenacity, determination and desire in the heart of our midfield, it seems as though Amorim is ready to move in a different direction, and so it remains to be seen how much we’re able to add to the transfer budget through the sales of Bondo and Fofana this summer.
