AC Milan midfielder Adrien Rabiot has hinted that his future remains with the club as talks with Ruben Amorim are likely to be held in the coming days.
The 31-year-old joined us from Marseille last summer and went on to make 32 appearances for the Rossoneri last season, scoring six goals and providing five assists to go with his influence in midfield.
With France’s participation at the World Cup now concluded, the focus will quickly switch back to his club future and whether or not he will remain part of our rebuild under new boss Amorim, following the departure of his predecessor Massimiliano Allegri at the end of last season.

Based on his comments below, it certainly sounds as though there is an intention to stay at Milan, but understandably, talks will be held between the player and coach in the coming days and then we’ll likely know more about the position both parties wish to take moving forward.
“Start again at Milan? Yes, yes, of course, then we’ll talk with the coach and with Maignan, we’ll catch up, we wanted to stay relaxed during the World Cup and we didn’t want to be bothered by other things. Now there will be time to talk calmly,” he told DAZN, as per Antonio Vitiello.
While it’s likely that Amorim will want to keep both Rabiot and Mike Maignan at the club given their experience and leadership as well as what they offer in terms of their qualities on the pitch, there will perhaps be a need for clarification on his side too in terms of what he wants from them moving forward and if they form part of his long-term plans.
It has already been a summer of change at Milan with the Portuguese tactician looking to stamp his mark on the squad and mould it into his own, and that process is likely to ramp up now with the World Cup almost over, and albeit players who participated in it will be given an extended break, movement will be expected on their futures to allow the Rossoneri to make further changes if necessary.
