AC Milan boss Sergio Conceicao was pleased with his side after watching them secure a comeback 3-1 win over Bologna.
The visitors took the lead shortly after half-time, but a double from Santiago Gimenez with a Christian Pulisic strike sandwiched in between ensured that we secured all three points.

That in turn extends our good form in recent weeks as it’s now four consecutive wins across all competitions, and five wins in our last six.
Focus now switches to the Coppa Italia final against Bologna next Wednesday night in Rome, as it’s hoped that while we continue to close the gap and put pressure on our rivals in the Serie A standings, we can salvage something more from the campaign with another trophy.
Although he wasn’t pleased with the overall performance, the fight shown by his team pleased Conceicao, while he had specific praise for Gimenez who appears to now be hitting his stride and finding some consistent good form.
“We didn’t play a great game,” he told Sky Sport, as per MilanNews. “It’s true, however, we won against a strong team that is doing well. Those who came on gave positive responses and I really like that.
“We’ll start preparing for the final tomorrow. We have to analyse what we did well and what we didn’t. It will be a different match from today. Finals must be won, even if you play less well.
“Gimenez is working well, I’m talking to him a lot to give him what he needed. He came here with a small physical problem. We have faith in all the players. I’m happy with the two goals, we know that strikers live for goals. We still have a few days of work before the match. Gimenez has a different game to Jovic. Abraham has scored important goals and let’s not forget Camarda either. We bought him for his quality, Serie A is difficult, he needs a bit of acclimatisation.
“Those who came in did well, but not just today.”
Meanwhile, the Milan boss wouldn’t be drawn on his future at the club beyond this season, as speculation has continued to suggest that he may well be replaced this summer regardless of how the current campaign goes.
With such a pivotal game coming up next and with two critical league outings to follow as we look to try and climb the standings as much as possible, he’s certainly right that talk over his future can wait until the season concludes.
That said, time will tell if the situation can still change and he can convince the hierarchy to keep him on with a continuation of our good results, and a second trophy would undoubtedly make a strong argument in favour of showing faith in him too.
“Conceiçao is not important, what is important is Milan and winning the next match because for a club like ours it is essential to lift trophies,” he added. “This is not the time to talk about me, at the right time I will speak.”
