AC Milan have officially announced the signing of Sandro Tonali on a permanent basis from Brescia after his loan spell with us last season.
The 21-year-old made 37 appearances for the Rossoneri last year as he played a key role in helping us secure Champions League qualification.

Due to Ismael Bennacer’s injury woes, Tonali perhaps played more than expected in his first year with us, but he stepped up and played at a solid level to give us quality in midfield.
That said, it was arguably slightly underwhelming in terms of his overall influence on the pitch, but there is certainly much more to come from him and he will no doubt grow in importance and quality as he continues to gain experience at the top level.
As per the club’s official site, the Italian midfielder has now joined us on a permanent deal and has signed a contract that will keep him at Milan until 2026.
It’s another important piece of business from the Rossoneri as we continue to assemble a squad that is capable of competing on multiple fronts next season and beyond at a high level.
Tonali follows Mike Maignan and Fikayo Tomori as our summer signings thus far, and it would come as no surprise if further additions followed.
For now though, it’s a big day for Tonali as he’ll no doubt be delighted to secure a long-term future at Milan, and he’ll hope to continue to get opportunities moving forward to showcase his quality and establish himself as a pivotal part of the squad for years to come.
Sandro Tonali.
Bigger role than expected last season given Bennacer's injury woes, stepped in & did a job. Still only 21, will improve and develop into a key player. Reports suggest he's taking salary cut to push permanent move through ❤️🖤🤞🏽#ForzaMilan #SempreMilan pic.twitter.com/1WqXkKxu4r
