AC Milan are reportedly in talks with Real Madrid over Alvaro Odriozola as the Rossoneri look to add depth at right-back ahead of next season.
With Diogo Dalot returning to Man Utd after his loan spell expires, Milan will be left short in that particular area of the squad as there is a lack of options behind Davide Calabria.

As we not only prepare to try and make a push for the Serie A title next season but also be competitive in the Champions League on our return to Europe’s top table, it’s imperative that we add more quality depth to the squad to be able to compete on multiple fronts.
In turn, adding a right-back will be essential, and as per MilanNews, Odriozola has emerged as a possible alternative to Dalot, and it’s suggested that talks are underway with Real Madrid over a loan move as the Spaniard perhaps doesn’t fit into Carlo Ancelotti’s plans next season.
Odriozola, 25, joined Los Blancos in 2018 but has made just 43 appearances for the club as he was also sent out on loan to Bayern Munich.
While he hasn’t had the playing time that he would have hoped for over the past three years, he undoubtedly showed plenty of talent and ability to earn his move to the Bernabeu, while he has bagged three goals and 10 assists in those 43 outings for the club in addition to his defensive work.
With that in mind, he could relish the opportunity of a fresh start in Italy to compete with Calabria for a starting berth, particularly having seen his teammate Brahim Diaz enjoy a productive loan spell with us last season.
Time will tell how the situation plays out, but based on the report above, it certainly appears to be the case that Milan are lining Odriozola up as a serious option, particularly if we are unable to bring Dalot back ahead of next season.
