AC Milan host Sassuolo at San Siro on Sunday afternoon, and Stefano Pioli is set to get a boost from Mike Maignan.
The Rossoneri secured a crucial win over Atletico Madrid in the Champions League in midweek, and that result should hopefully give all concerned a major boost in confidence.

It was an ideal way to bounce back after our disappointing defeat to Fiorentina last weekend, and so now the focus is on getting back to winning ways in Serie A.
Olivier Giroud was the latest key player to pick up an injury as he was forced off in Spain on Wednesday night, while Pioli, fresh from signing his contract extension, will likely rotate as he has done throughout the campaign thus far to keep his players fresh.
Probable Milan XI vs Sassuolo
As per La Gazzetta dello Sport, Maignan is expected to make a stunning comeback after undergoing wrist surgery just 46 days ago.
The Frenchman has recovered well ahead of schedule, and it will be a huge bonus to have him back between the posts given how influential and solid he was for us prior to his setback.
Elsewhere, Alessandro Florenzi has steadily built up his playing time since returning from his own injury, and so he could be in line to get the nod at right back ahead of Pierre Kalulu for this one, with Davide Calabria still sidelined.
Simon Kjaer and Alessio Romagnoli will likely continue after putting in an excellent shift in midweek, with Fikayo Tomori set to get more time to fully recover from his hip injury.
Tiemoue Bakayoko could come into the midfield alongside Ismael Bennacer as Franck Kessie and Sandro Tonali could get a rest too, while the frontline looks familiar with Pioli being tipped to go with Alexis Saelemaekers, Brahim Diaz and Rafael Leao behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic, as per MilanNews.
Given Milan’s strength in depth this year, that is a quality XI regardless of the changes, and so it’s hoped that they have enough to secure all three points and potentially take advantage of any slip-ups elsewhere with both the Rossoneri and Napoli losing their first games of the domestic season last week.
Those results though allowed Inter to move within a point of both sides, and so Milan will know that they can ill-afford to drop more points this weekend as we look to mount a serious Scudetto title charge this season.
