Despite there being more important matters ahead for AC Milan, transfer speculation has linked us with Dusan Vlahovic, Rodrigo De Paul and Lucas Vazquez this week.
The Rossoneri are in the midst of a battle for Champions League qualification this season, as we currently sit in fourth place in Serie A with four games remaining in the campaign.

With Napoli just two points adrift of us and with a showdown against direct rivals Juventus this weekend, Stefano Pioli and the players will undoubtedly be fully focused on the task at hand.
However, that hasn’t stopped the media from discussing our potential transfer targets this summer, with three names being put forward on Tuesday.
Vlahovic as a deputy to Ibra?
As noted by MilanNews, via the paper edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Fiorentina ace Vlahovic is said to be a target to act as a second option to Zlatan Ibrahimovic up front.
The 21-year-old has enjoyed an excellent season to date, scoring 19 goals and providing two assists in 36 appearances.
In turn, that would suggest that he could be a sensible addition with Ibrahimovic turning 40 later this year, but the report above adds that Fiorentina could demand up to €40m for him, and so time will tell if that is beyond our budget.
De Paul possible reinforcement
It’s also noted by GdS that De Paul is of interest to Milan too, with the Udinese playmaker also having an impressive season with eight goals and 10 assists in 34 appearances.
The 26-year-old has shown his class in Italy, and it’s suggested that Milan could offer cash plus Jens Petter Hauge in an attempt to agree terms with Udinese. Although we could face competition, with Inter and Juventus also said to be keen on him.
Adding Vlahovic and De Paul, both of whom have had excellent seasons in Serie A this year, could be smart recruitment from Milan as we continue to look to strengthen the squad.
Vazquez move touted
Elsewhere, AS reported this week that Vazquez is set to join Milan if he doesn’t agree on new terms with Real Madrid as his current contract is set to expire this summer.
With just two goals and eight assists in 34 outings for the Spanish giants so far this season, those aren’t numbers that suggest he would be a significant upgrade on the options we currently have in the squad, and at 29 years of age, he’s at the wrong end of his career.
That said, MilanNews note that reports from Spain suggest that we could offer him a €4m-a-year contract if he leaves the Bernabeu, and so it remains to be seen if that moves comes to fruition.
