AC Milan could be set for a busy summer transfer window as Amine Adli and Jerdy Schouten are two of the latest names to be linked with a move to join us.
The Rossoneri have already secured their first purchase of the summer, with Mike Maignan joining from Lille as Gianluigi Donnarumma is set to move on when his contract expires next month.

However, the expectation is that there will be plenty more business to come from us, and there are a number of names being paired with a move to San Siro in the coming months.
Permanent Tomori deal priority for Milan
As noted by Antonio Vitiello of MilanNews, landing Fikayo Tomori on a permanent basis from Chelsea is a priority for the Rossoneri this summer, but it’s suggested that it will be difficult to get him for anything less than the €28m figure agreed prior to his arrival on loan.
The 23-year-old has been an excellent addition for us as he was a key figure last season in our push to secure Champions League football, keeping captain Alessio Romagnoli out of the side too.
In turn, it’s hoped that we can keep him for the long-term future to ensure he remains a pillar of the defence moving forward, but time will tell if that transfer fee is problematic to the point it puts a deal in doubt.
Schouten and Adli on Milan list
As per Calciomercato’s Daniele Longo, Milan are expected to hold fresh talks with Toulouse over Amine Adli in the coming hours, while he also notes that we’re in talks with Bologna over Jerdy Schouten.
Adli, 21, enjoyed an impressive campaign with the Ligue 2 outfit last season, scoring eight goals and providing eight assists in 36 appearances.
Adept at playing either as a right-winger and cutting inside on his left or in a more central role, he could bring important attacking qualities to our squad if he were to arrive as we’ve lacked a genuine threat on that flank, albeit he is still quite raw and will need to prove he can make a significant step up in difficulty of opposition.
As for Schouten, the 24-year-old made 35 appearances for Bologna this past year, establishing himself as a key figure in their midfield with his tenacity off the ball and his technical quality on it.
With Soualiho Meite expected to return to Torino when his loan deal expires this summer, perhaps the Dutchman could be the man to fill that void.
Castillejo set for Milan exit
While the above covers potential incomings, there could also be an outgoing with Samu Castillejo being linked with an exit amid interest from Spain, as per Antonio Vitiello.
Milan need more attacking class in that role moving forward, as noted above, and Castillejo simply hasn’t been able to offer that in his time at the club.
He’ll be a loss given his commitment and work ethic, but if we’re to make the next step, we’ll need more quality in our attack to complement what Alexis Saelemaekers provides us.
