AC Milan reportedly held meetings with Fiyako Tomori and the representatives of Feyenoord midfielder Orkun Kokcu on a busy day at Casa Milan on Wednesday.
The Rossoneri are seemingly staying on top of matters that will become a more important priority over the summer, with Tomori’s loan spell from Chelsea set to expire while given our shortcomings in recent months, adding quality to the squad will surely be on the agenda too.

However, the main focus for now is on finishing in the top four in Serie A and thus qualifying for the Champions League, as back-to-back defeats have resulted in us dropping to fifth in the standings with just five games to go.
Stefano Pioli and the players will look to get back on track against Benevento this weekend, but the management team were busy this week with meetings.
As reported by MilanNews, via Sky Sport Italia, Tomori met with Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara where they discussed the options for the future. It’s added that Milan want to keep him beyond this season, but with a €28m fee to be paid to ensure that comes to fruition, it remains to be seen if that’s a deal the club are ready to make.
Tomori has had a shaky last couple of games after initially impressing, and so the meeting was perhaps also a way to reassure him and pass on advice to ensure he helps us achieve our objective this season.
Meanwhile, MilanNews via Sky also reported that Kokcu’s father visited Casa Milan in midweek, but it’s stressed that no concrete talks over figures involved in a possible deal were discussed and it was merely to explore his availability ahead of next season.
The 20-year-old central midfielder has scored three goals and provided two assists in 25 appearances so far this season while he’s been capped three times by Turkey.
It remains to be seen if a move to Milan materialises this summer to allow us bolster that area of the squad.
