AC Milan are reportedly continuing talks with Torino over a potential transfer swoop for midfielder Samuele Ricci this summer.
The 23-year-old has established himself as a top talent during his time in Turin, while he had already made a positive impression having come through the youth ranks at Empoli before making the switch in 2022.

Off the back of a solid campaign, it appears as though Milan continue to be linked with a move for Ricci, as Fabrizio Romano reports that the Rossoneri are in ongoing talks with our Serie A rivals as he’s still a priority target after we initially opened discussions in January.
He adds that an agreement on personal terms won’t be an issue as Ricci wants to join us, but there is no deal in place between the clubs as of yet, and so that will be a major hurdle to overcome if we wish to secure the Italian midfielder’s signature this summer.
Milan have moved quickly since the end of a disappointing campaign to appoint Igli Tare as our new sporting director, while it was confirmed on Friday that Massimiliano Allegri has returned for a second stint in charge having now replaced Sergio Conceicao.
Now comes a vital period, as the pair must work together to build a squad that suits his style of play and identity, and although Ricci was seemingly already on our transfer radar previously, he remains a top target to bolster our midfield and hopefully raise the level in that department.
His combative play coupled with his technical quality allow him to have an important influence in both phases of the game, and so he could prove to be a crucial presence in the side and offer a long-term solution given he’s still only 23 and has plenty of room for improvement, but time will tell if Milan are able to get a deal over the line in the coming weeks with plenty of transfer activity expected this summer.
It promises to be a fascinating process to see how we improve and upgrade the squad, as ultimately after the season we just had, there are high expectations from the fans that significant changes will be made given the current group underperformed and disappointed across the course of the season in multiple competitions and it’s crystal clear that improvements are needed.
