AC Milan forward Rafael Leao is reportedly attracting interest from both Galatasaray and Fenerbahce, but no official offers have yet been made by either club.
The 27-year-old has spoken publicly this summer about his desire to leave the Rossoneri and try a new challenge elsewhere, and it seems as though the club are open to facilitating such a move.
Leao has been our talisman since arriving from Lille in 2019, scoring 80 goals and providing 65 assists in 291 appearances, but through a combination of injuries and struggling to find his best form, last season was a disappointment for all concerned.

In turn, perhaps a fresh start for both sides is needed as we begin a new cycle under Ruben Amorim, but it remains to be seen if a sufficient bid is made for the Portuguese international to convince Milan to sell.
According to Antonio Vitiello, Galatasaray and Fenerbahce have expressed interest in Leao, but neither have formalised that interest and submitted a bid for him. It’s added that Milan value our star man at €50m to €60, and although he suggests a deal could be tough to do at that price, it doesn’t seem as though the Rossoneri are willing to move off it.
Leao is said to be expected to join the Milan squad on our pre-season tour while talks continue over his future, but it remains to be seen if any interested club is willing to meet our valuation and open the doors for a transfer between now and the end of the summer transfer window.
It certainly feels like the right time to go our separate ways as any fee generated from his sale would allow Amorim to continue to strengthen his squad and stamp his mark on it. Perhaps he thinks that his compatriot could help him build a successful team and wants to wipe the slate clean to give him a fresh start, but the speculation would continue to suggest that an exit is very much still on the table.
That said, if no team is willing to pay up, with Vitiello adding that Premier League clubs have only made enquiries thus far, then it could be difficult to offload Leao without him firstly showing that he is back to his best on the pitch to warrant a big-money offer.
