Fenerbahce have reportedly made an offer worth €4m plus bonuses for AC Milan midfielder Rade Krunic, as an exit is now expected in the January transfer window.
The 30-year-old joined the Rossoneri from Empoli in 2019, and although he has made 139 appearances for the club and has played an important role at times, he has long faced doubts over his ability to feature so prominently.

His versatility, technical ability and commitment ensured he remained an important option for Stefano Pioli, but it appears as though there are indications now that his time with us is coming to an end.
As per Sky Sport Italia, Fenerbahce’s sporting director, Mario Branco, has travelled to Italy for talks over the midfielder, and an offer worth €4m plus bonuses has been submitted by the Turkish giants.
However, it’s added that it may not be enough to convince Milan to sell, and so it remains to be seen if an agreement can be reached between the two clubs to seal an exit this month.
Given his current contract runs until June 2025, we’re in a strong position to demand more if we feel as though his value hasn’t been met, but it’s equally as important that we don’t price ourselves out of a deal and force Fenerbahce to look elsewhere.
Krunic has been a solid option to have in the squad over the last four years, but ultimately it can be argued that if we want to compete at a higher level and improve our performances, an upgrade is ultimately needed, and an exit will help that materialise by funding it and making space in the squad for a new face.
As reported by MilanNews, Pioli told the media in his pre-Empoli press conference on Saturday that he now believes a move elsewhere is better for both the player and club, and so it undoubtedly now sounds as though it’s now a matter of time before an exit for Krunic is confirmed.
