AC Milan could receive a €14m transfer boost as Juventus are reportedly set to sign defender Pierre Kalulu on a permanent basis.
The 24-year-old joined the Turin giants on loan last summer, and he went on to make 39 appearances across all competitions for them over the course of the campaign.

Evidently, our Serie A rivals saw enough from Kalulu to be convinced that they would like to sign him outright, and as per Fabrice Hawkins, Juventus are set to exercise their option to buy and purchase the French defender for €14m.
Kalulu established himself as a key figure for the Rossoneri after arriving from Lyon in 2020, as he went on to make 112 appearances in a Milan shirt, and helped us win the Scudetto in the 2021/22 campaign.
As a result, he will be fondly remembered for that contribution to our success, however, having fallen down the pecking order, the club decided that they were willing to let him leave last summer and approved a move to Juve. Further, now that he’s seemingly set to leave permanently, we’ll hopefully now reinvest the money raised from his sale wisely to strengthen Massimiliano Allegri’s squad.
The Italian tactician will have clear ideas on how he wants to construct his squad and what system and style of play he would prefer to implement, and so our summer transfer window will be geared towards delivering that for him.
Given Juventus have triggered their option, Milan and Allegri ultimately have no say in whether or not they would have liked to have brought the Frenchman back this summer to take a look at whether or not he could fit into our plans moving forward, and so we’ll focus on improving our backline without him.
With a string of exits being speculated this month, Milan could lose a number of top players, but equally, we’ll be armed with significant resources to bring in reinforcements that will hopefully help us become a more competitive side next season.
In turn, it’s going to be a fascinating summer to watch unfold, and time will tell if we end the window stronger than how we started it, with sporting director Igli Tare and Allegri under pressure to get their recruitment right to ensure we don’t experience another disappointing and frustrating season like this past year.
