AC Milan have reportedly reached an agreement with Juventus over the transfer of defender Pierre Kalulu.
The 24-year-old joined us from Lyon in 2020, and has since gone on to make 112 appearances for the Rossoneri.

While he played a fundamental role in our Serie A title success in the 2021/22 campaign, Kalulu was plagued by injury woes last season which in turn severely limited his involvement, and now it appears as though his time at the club is set to come to an end.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, an agreement has been reached between the two clubs, with the French defender joining the Bianconeri on loan initially for a €3.5m fee, while they will have an option to buy at the end of the season which would see them pay a further potential €15m in total plus 10 percent on a future resale.
It’s expected that Kalulu will agree on personal terms and complete the formalities of his move this week, and he’ll then begin a new chapter in his career with our Serie A rivals.
His absence against Monza in our final pre-season game on Tuesday night was another major indication that a move is close, and so while it’s an important sale, it hopefully isn’t one that we are left to rue in the future.
Milan boss Paulo Fonseca has a number of options at his disposal in that department even without Kalulu, with summer signing Strahinja Pavlovic joining the likes of Fikayo Tomori, Malick Thiaw and Matteo Gabbia as competition for the centre-half positions.
The Portuguese tactician is evidently open to losing the Frenchman, hence the transfer being set to go through, and so it’s hoped that the senior quartet that we still have will be able to provide us with a solid foundation this season and improve on the dire defensive record that we saw last year.
Further, they clearly suit his ideas and style of play more effectively having been retained and Kalulu being on the verge of departing, and so it’s hoped that they prove to be the most effective options moving forward to help the Milan boss make a positive start to life in charge.
