AC Milan have reportedly set their sights on Manchester United defender Noussair Mazraoui with Pervis Estupinan being tipped to leave the club.
The Rossoneri are in the midst of a summer of change following the appointment of Ruben Amorim, as the Portuguese tactician stamps his mark on the squad and brings in reinforcements better suited to his preferred system and style of play.
We’ve already seen two notable signings in Goncalo Ramos and Mario Gila arrive, and the expectation is that there will be plenty more incomings and outgoings between now and the end of the transfer window.

According to Calciomercato, Milan are keen on Mazraoui, a player that Amorim knows well following their time working together at Manchester United, with the Moroccan international’s versatility in being able to play on the left or right side being touted as a major reason why we’re keen to bring him to the club.
It’s added that Estupinan is expected to seal a move to Aston Villa despite the clubs still in negotiations over a fee and lacking an agreement, and so once the Ecuadorian defender has moved on, that will free up both funds and space in the squad for Milan to move for Mazraoui.
That said, it’s unclear at this stage if he can be prised away from Old Trafford, and so it will be interesting to see how the situation unfolds.
Mazraoui joined the Premier League giants in 2024 after spells with Bayern Munich and Ajax, and so with experience across some of the top leagues in Europe, it’s easy to see why Amorim would want to seal a reunion with him in Milan.
For now though, Estupinan’s exit will seemingly unblock our ability step up our pursuit, and there will no doubt be plenty more activity to come as we look to improve and strengthen the squad where possible ahead of Amorim’s first season in charge.
