AC Milan are reportedly set to hold talks with Manchester United over a possible loan deal for Marcus Rashford this month.
The 27-year-old has struggled for consistency and form for the Red Devils dating back to last season, and speculation has continued to build over his future.

It has been suggested that he’s ready for a new challenge, and despite his struggles over the past 18 months or so, the England international remains a talented player capable of making an important impact in the final third if he rediscovers his confidence and perhaps gets a fresh start elsewhere.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Milan are set to hold talks over a possible loan deal for him this month, but it’s stressed that there will be significant competition for the forward as other clubs are likely to be in a similar situation.
In turn, it remains to be seen firstly if the Rossoneri make a formal offer to try and secure Rashford on a temporary basis for the rest of the season, and if so, whether or not it’s accepted by both the club and player to bring in an important attacking reinforcement for Sergio Conceicao.
Rashford has scored seven goals and provided three assists in 24 appearances so far this season, and although that’s a relatively respectable return, it’s a far cry from his tallies in the 2022/23 campaign where he excelled and hit the 30-goal mark.
Milan seemingly have plenty of firepower already with Alvaro Morata, Rafael Leao, Christian Pulisic, Tammy Abraham, Samuel Chukwueze, Luka Jovic and Noah Okafor at Conceicao’s disposal. However, with Chukwueze currently injured and amid speculation linking Okafor with an exit, if a deal for Rashford becomes a realistic possibility, perhaps we’ll look to make space in the squad and move others on.
As we’ve seen with the likes of Fikayo Tomori, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Abraham, Milan has more recently been an ideal landing spot for English players to get their career going in the right direction again. In turn, time will tell if that’s an appealing factor for Rashford when considering his options, but ultimately much will first depend on whether or not talks between the two clubs lead to a deal being a realistic expectation.
