AC Milan are reportedly in talks to try and find an agreement with Hakim Ziyech on personal terms, as he is set to leave Chelsea this summer.
After impressing at Ajax, the 29-year-old has struggled to rediscover his best form at Chelsea over the past two seasons, scoring 14 goals and providing 10 assists in 83 appearances for the Blues.

With competition for places in mind too, an exit appears to be a sensible option for the Moroccan international, and as per Gianluca Di Marzio, Milan have emerged as a potential destination for him this summer.
The report notes that Ziyech has expressed a desire to leave Chelsea, and that Milan are working to try and find an agreement on personal terms with him as his salary could prove to be a stumbling block.
Nevertheless, Milan are serious about a move and Ziyech is said to be willing to negotiate, so time will tell if an agreement can be reached between the two parties, and then with Chelsea too.
Would Ziyech be a good signing for AC Milan?
Despite his struggles at Chelsea, there is little doubt that Ziyech is a top player who has proven that he can deliver at a high level.
His technical quality, creativity and eye for goal would be valuable additions to the current Milan XI, and particularly given he would address a glaring, long-standing issue that we’ve struggled with on the right wing for years now, signing him would certainly make plenty of sense.
Further, with the versatility to perhaps play in a more central role too at times if required, it would be a great move from the Rossoneri to secure his signature this summer, and it’s hoped that after a slow start to the transfer window, we can step up our activity in the coming days and weeks.
Ziyech would be an excellent addition, from his ability to add a balance to the Milan attack with Rafael Leao’s pace and directness on one wing combined with his eye for a pass and technical class on the other, as well as a wand of a left foot that would certainly give the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Olivier Giroud plenty to feed off.
Time will tell if a deal can be done, but signing Ziyech would make plenty of sense for Milan.
