AC Milan have confirmed the signing of Charles De Ketelaere from Club Brugge, with our new arrival signing a contract until 2027.
The 21-year-old has been our top transfer target all summer and after a lengthy pursuit, it has finally reached a conclusion as he has joined the Rossoneri.

As per the club’s official site, he has put pen to paper on a contract until June 2027, while he has chosen to wear the No.90 shirt number.
Given the talent, potential and quality that he possesses, De Ketelaere is an exciting signing from Milan and it’s hoped that he now plays a pivotal role in our ongoing pursuit of success in the coming years.
Further, he addresses a key weakness in Stefano Pioli’s side given our lack of creativity and technical quality in the final third, and so the Milan boss will no doubt be delighted to have added a reinforcement in that area of his squad.
De Ketelaere scored 25 goals and provided 20 assists in 120 appearances for Brugge, while he has one goal in eight caps for Belgium as he has shown that he could potentially be a highly influential player at both club and international level moving forward.
Given how we pursued him for so long and the touted fee that it took to prise him away from Brugge, Milan management appear entirely convinced by what he could add to the side, and that level of conviction and certainty about a player is reassuring as it will hopefully prove to be a hugely important signing.
De Ketelaere will now join up with his new Milan teammates in the coming days, and while it isn’t ideal that he has missed the majority of our pre-season preparations, he’ll hopefully adjust and adapt quickly to work his way into Pioli’s plans as soon as possible.
