AC Milan transfer target Ardon Jashari is reportedly prioritising the Rossoneri as negotiations over a transfer continue.
The 22-year-old seemingly forms a pivotal part of our plans to rebuild our midfield this summer, as speculation has been intense over a potential swoop to prise him away from Club Brugge.

As of yet, no agreement has been reached between the clubs to allow for that to happen, but the Swiss international seemingly remains high on our transfer shortlist this summer.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Jashari is fully focused on joining Milan and isn’t in discussion with any other club, but he notes that there is still no compromise between the clubs to move forward with a transfer.
It’s noted that Milan have offered €30m plus add-ons which hasn’t been accepted by the Belgian outfit, and so it remains to be seen what it will take to get there, and arguably whether or not Milan still believe it’s worth it in terms of representing value for money.
Following Tijjani Reijnders’ departure coupled with the decision not to sign our loanees on a permanent basis, the Rossoneri are clearing the way for signings such as Jashari to allow Massimiliano Allegri to mould this squad into his own, and it will be interesting to see if we land our priority target or not.
It has been reported that we’ve agreed a deal to sign Samuele Ricci from Torino while Luka Modric is expected to arrive on a free transfer, and so if Jashari is added to that list to rebuild our midfield alongside the likes of Youssouf Fofana and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, we certainly look a lot stronger in that department.
Nevertheless, Milan will surely have alternative options in mind should negotiations fail to reach an agreement, but it’s clear from the report above that we’re continuing to press for a deal while the player himself is eager to open up the next chapter of his career at San Siro.
