AC Milan are reportedly keeping tabs on Fenerbahce’s talented youngster Arda Guler, who is said to be attracting a lot of interest this summer.
The 18-year-old scored six goals and provided seven assists in 35 appearances last season, and with two caps for Turkey to his name already, he has started to receive rave reviews.

Considered one of the top young talents in Europe, it’s not a surprise to hear that many clubs are keeping an eye on him this summer, but according to Antonio Vitiello, Milan are one of them as we’re said to be monitoring his situation with the Turkish giants with a potential view of making a move.
As per Fabrizio Romano, Guler has a release clause of €17.5m in his current contract, and while that is still a significant fee for an 18-year-old, if we believe in his talent and the trajectory of his career moving forward, that could prove to be a sensible deal.
Given our struggles in the final third last season with a glaring lack of quality and creativity, adding a player of Guler’s profile would hopefully address that problem and give us more of a goal threat and improve our standard of play.
That’s a lot to ask of a young player though, and so if we were able to bring him in, it’s hoped that Milan’s objective in this transfer window to bolster our attack doesn’t stop there.
With Zlatan Ibrahimovic retiring and Brahim Diaz moving back to Real Madrid, coupled with the expectation that there will be additional exits in the coming weeks to clear space for new arrivals, Milan need an overhaul and rebuild of our attack with a long-term plan in mind and Guler could be key in that if we make a move.
That said, there will naturally be caution after the Charles De Ketelaere signing last year, as time will tell if the Belgian playmaker gets a chance to put last season behind him and show us his quality, or if we intend on a wider reshuffling of the pack in attack.
