AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli has revealed that Theo Hernandez missed training on Friday due to flu, ahead of our trip to face Torino on Saturday night.
With second place in Serie A already secured with two more games remaining, the Rossoneri know that the pressure is off as we reportedly edge towards the end of Pioli’s stint in charge.

Nevertheless, we’ll want to finish positively and build some momentum heading into the summer and new campaign, with the players perhaps facing a test themselves to prove their worth to the incoming coach as it remains to be seen if significant changes will be made to the squad.
It had been hoped that we would be at full strength in Turin this weekend, but while we await news on whether Mike Maignan will return from injury, Hernandez has now emerged as another potential doubt to feature.
“Theo didn’t train today as he had the flu, so I’ll see if he can recover in time for tomorrow,” Pioli told the media at his pre-match press conference, as per MilanNews. “If I succeed, I’ll let everyone play in these last two games.”
Having made changes to his Milan XI last time out in our 5-1 win over Cagliari, it remains to be seen what Pioli goes with on Saturday as he’s been tipped to rotate slightly and freshen things up across the pitch.
Given what Hernandez provides for us on the left flank from an attacking perspective to go with his defensive duties though, it’s always a blow to potentially be without his services, having contributed five goals and 11 assists in 45 appearances so far this season.
It will be intriguing to see who is favourite to deputise if he is ruled out, with Filippo Terracciano tipped by multiple Italian outlets to be given the nod to feature, with the 21-year-old logging just 59 minutes so far since his move to join us in January.
