AC Milan boss Sergio Conceicao has been handed more good news on the injury front as we prepare to face Juventus in the Italian Super Cup.
The Rossoneri will look to get a win in the Portuguese tactician’s first game at the helm, as we look to advance and try to win silverware in Riyadh before returning to Italy to resume our Serie A campaign.

Given the lack of time that Conceicao has had to prepare his team since being appointed earlier this week, it promises to be a difficult challenge, but what will certainly help is getting back to having as close to a fully-fit squad as possible.
While Christian Pulisic had already resumed group training and is expected to start against Juventus on Friday, there was more good news in training on Thursday as MilanNews report that Yunus Musah, Filippo Terracciano and Ruben Loftus-Cheek all worked with the rest of the group and are expected to be available for our upcoming game.
There is a blow in that Rafael Leao hasn’t recovered in time and so he will be absent from the matchday squad, but with over a week to go until we face Cagliari in the league, it’s hoped that gives him sufficient time to become available again.
It’s an important boost to get numbers back though, not only in terms of what they add to the Milan team, but also giving Conceicao as many of his players to work with as he looks to get his ideas and principles across both quickly and effectively.
Further, from the player perspective, they will be desperate to make a positive first impression on the new Milan boss, and so missing out on his first training sessions and games would potentially have put them at a disadvantage when it comes to solidifying their respective spots in the team.
Nevertheless, with Pulisic, Musah, Loftus-Cheek and Terracciano said to now be recovered and available, it gives us a stronger chance of seeing off Juventus and hopefully competing for the Super Cup as Conceicao looks to make an immediate impression.
