AC Milan face Genoa on Monday night in our next Serie A outing, and Sergio Conceicao has had mixed news on the injury front.
The Rossoneri continue to try and build some form and consistency as we attempt to finish the season well while also preparing for the Coppa Italia Final later this month.

After a morale-boosting win over Inter to book our spot in the Final was followed with victory at Venezia last time out, Conceicao will be pleased with his side’s response over the past fortnight, and he’ll want to see more of the same in our next outing.
Ideally, we’d be edging closer to having a full-strength squad available to the Portuguese tactician to give him options and alternative tactical solutions, but there was good news and fresh setbacks ahead of Monday’s encounter.
As per MilanNews, Luka Jovic is available after recovering from a back injury, as he’s now been involved in three sessions with the rest of the group and is expected to feature.
However, Tammy Abraham, Riccardo Sottil and Warren Bondo have all picked up fresh injury blows, and the expectation is that the trio will not be available for this clash, thus limiting our options on the bench.
With Abraham trying to recover in time and Santiago Gimenez searching for his best form still, the return of Jovic is a timely boost, as although he hasn’t exactly been prolific this season, the Serbian forward will hopefully now be able to build on his decisive brace against Inter last month.
Regardless of personnel though, Milan must continue to pick up wins and climb the Serie A table in our final four games of the campaign, and with the rest of the group at Conceicao’s disposal, we should have an important sense of consistency when it comes to the starting line-up with the focal point up top expected to be the only change.
