AC Milan will begin the 2024/25 Serie A season with a home game against Torino, as Paulo Fonseca starts his tenure at San Siro.
The Rossoneri opted to make a fundamental change this summer, as Stefano Pioli’s time at the club came to an end, and Fonseca was subsequently named as his successor.

With a new head coach comes a new direction, identity and style of play, and so while our pre-season schedule will be fundamental for the Milan boss to get his ideas across, it will all be geared towards being at our best for the start of the new league campaign.
As seen below in the full fixture list, Milan will host Torino on the opening weekend of August 17/18, with exact kick-off times still to be confirmed.
Much is often made of the fixture schedule release, but ultimately we’ll play each team twice over the course of the season, and it’s only really hoped that we’ll be able to make a positive start and build some early momentum.
Our first Derby della Madonnina comes in matchday five, and although there are no easy games, particularly as we await to see how Fonseca fares with his new squad, there will be few complaints about how we start in the early stages as on paper, it looks to be an opportunity to get some points on the board and build some confidence.
The international breaks over the course of the campaign have also been confirmed, as seen below, as has the Coppa Italia schedule as Milan will no doubt be hopeful of winning silverware this season as we compete both domestically and in the Champions League.
With just over a month to go now before the competitive action restarts, all eyes will be on Milanello next week as we welcome back the players, who will all undoubtedly be itching to get started to reach peak condition ahead of the new season.
