AC Milan have received positive news on the injury front with updates on Alessio Romagnoli, Mike Maignan and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The Rossoneri were held to a goalless draw by Inter in our Coppa Italia semi-final clash on Tuesday night, with captain Romagnoli forced off with what appeared to be a groin injury.

With Simon Kjaer already sidelined, the last thing that Stefano Pioli needs is to be without another senior player in that area of the squad, but the initial news is said to be positive.
As per MilanNews’ Antonio Vitiello, Romagnoli has undergone further tests which have revealed that he hasn’t sustained a serious muscle injury, and so his recovery will now be evaluated on a day-to-day basis. With that in mind, it’s hoped that he can recover soon and be available for our upcoming games.
Further, MilanNews add that Maignan didn’t suffer any damage after Lautaro Martinez inadvertently stamped on his arm during the clash this week, with the Frenchman requiring treatment on the pitch for some time.
Fortunately, it’s suggested that there is no concern that he will be forced to miss any playing time, while it’s also noted in the report above that Ibrahimovic continued personalised training on Wednesday and so it remains to be seen if he’s able to return in time to face Napoli this weekend.
Given his absence in recent weeks, it’s obvious that he will not be in contention to start in that top-of-the-table clash, but Milan would certainly be boosted if he’s available as an option on the bench. Time will tell if that’s the case or not, but for now, it appears as though there is good news regarding all three Milan players in question.
