AC Milan could receive an important injury boost ahead of facing Torino this weekend, with Mike Maignan back in group training.
The Rossoneri travel to Turin to take on il Toro on Saturday night, and with second place in Serie A already secured, Stefano Pioli and the players will be looking to build momentum and end the campaign on a positive note heading into the summer.

In order to have the best possible chance of doing that, the Milan boss would have been hoping for some good news on the injury front this week, and he has seemingly received some.
As per MilanNews via Sky Sport Italia, Maignan is training with the rest of the group again after missing our last three games with a muscle injury that he suffered in the warm-up before our clash with Juventus at the end of last month.
While Marco Sportiello has done a good job deputising for him, there’s no denying how important the French international is for us when in form, and he’ll also be desperate to get minutes in the next fortnight not only to re-establish himself in the Milan starting line-up, but to also ensure he’s ready for EURO 2024 this summer.
It’s added in the report that Antonio Mirante is also back working with the rest of the team, but Samuel Chukwueze will miss our final two outings of the season while both Simon Kjaer and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are targeting our encounter with Salernitana as a possible comeback game.
There seems to be renewed confidence for Maignan though, as La Gazzetta dello Sport have the French shot-stopper in the probable Milan XI for this weekend, and it will certainly be a boost to see him back between the posts.
Key changes are expected at Milan this summer after an underwhelming campaign, and with speculation over his future too, Maignan will undoubtedly be pushing to ensure he’s ready to make his return on Saturday, and to avoid any setbacks with our last game of the campaign at home to follow.
