AC Milan will reportedly welcome back Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Franck Kessie from injury after the international break.
The Rossoneri have had to do without two of our most influential players to start the new campaign, as we secured a 1-0 win over Sampdoria last weekend ahead of facing Cagliari on Sunday.

Following that, there will be an international break which will give our players who haven’t been called up by their respective nations to rest and continue to train in preparation for our first game back, and they could be joined by two pillars of Stefano Pioli’s side.
As per MilanNews, it’s reported that Ibrahimovic’s recovery is going well and while he is now doing personalised training out on the pitches at Milanello, he is expected to be available for selection after the break.
It’s added that Kessie is also currently doing individual work but he hasn’t managed to get out on to the pitches just yet, and so while he may well still make the squad for Lazio, it seems unlikely that he will be fit enough to be involved from the start as he’s a little behind in his recovery.
Nevertheless, that’s positive news on two key individuals, and it’s hoped that Pioli and his side can secure another three points this weekend to make it an ideal start to the Serie A campaign, with reinforcements on the way to help push us on in just over a fortnight’s time.
It also remains to be seen if there are any further signings made to strengthen the squad with the transfer deadline now fast approaching, as Milan look to put together a group capable of being competitive across multiple fronts and challenging for silverware this season.
