AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori picked up an injury in our 1-1 draw with Roma on Saturday, but concern over his condition has been dismissed.
The 25-year-old sustained the blow in the latter stages of the first half at the Stadio Olimpico, following a collision with Tammy Abraham.

After initially trying to continue, he eventually needed treatment before the break, and was ultimately replaced at half-time with Malick Thiaw coming on in his place.
While it didn’t look as though it was a serious issue at the time, naturally there was concern that he wasn’t able to continue, but reports suggest that it isn’t a knock that will keep him out.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, it isn’t expected to sideline him, although he will miss our encounter with Cremonese on Wednesday due to suspension.
It’s added in the report that Stefano Pioli could rest Simon Kjaer in midweek too, thus starting Pierre Kalulu and Thiaw in the heart of the defence, while Olivier Giroud could also drop to the bench with one of Ante Rebic or Divock Origi starting in his place.
Despite the likelihood that Kalulu and Thiaw will be disappointed that they didn’t prevent Roma’s late goal, the defensive pair offer assurances that we will still keep it tight at the back despite changes, but it’s a different story at the other end of the pitch with neither Rebic nor Origi showing enough this season to suggest that they can effectively add an attacking threat in place of Giroud.
Time will tell if we can secure three important points, while for Tomori, he’ll hope to return against Lazio next weekend with a view of getting back to full fitness and being able to start against Inter in the first leg of our Champions League semi-final tie on May 10.
