Exit for Milan ace touted as offers received amid doubts over future

AC Milan midfielder Yacine Adli has reportedly received offers from Qatar as he looks set for an exit this summer.

The 24-year-old was signed from Bordeaux in August 2021, and he has since gone on to make 39 appearances for the Rossoneri.

However, having slipped down the pecking order, he was loaned out to Fiorentina last season where he made 35 appearances, scoring five goals and providing seven assists.

That in turn raised the question as to whether or not he had done enough to earn a second chance at Milan, particularly with a coaching change after Massimiliano Allegri took over last month with a fresh opportunity to establish himself in the new boss’s plans moving forward.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio though, there could be the option of cashing in on Adli this summer, as he is said to have attracted interest from Qatar, with offers being received.

It’s unclear at this stage if any of those offers are considered acceptable by Milan, and there arguably hasn’t been a definitive decision made on his future yet with Allegri potentially wanting to have a closer look at him, and all the options currently at his disposal, in pre-season training next month.

Nevertheless, an option to move him on could be on the table in the coming weeks if the interest from Qatar is serious, and offloading Adli could in turn help us with our rebuild in midfield by raising further funds for targets that Allegri wishes to bring to the club to suit his system and style of play.

Speculation has been rife in recent weeks over incomings and outgoings at Milan, and it sounds as though Adli could be another name to add to the list of potential exits as we look to continue our rebuild this summer and raise the quality level of the current squad to compete for major honours next season onwards.
