AC Milan are reportedly preparing to make an offer for Valencia midfielder Javi Guerra once Yunus Musah completes his move to Napoli.
The Rossoneri are set for a hectic summer based on the speculation we’ve seen thus far, with plenty of outgoings and incomings touted as Massimiliano Allegri builds his own squad.

While Tijjani Reijnders has already departed to join Manchester City, it’s reported that Musah is closing in on an exit too with Napoli eager to land his signature.
That will be two significant voids to fill in our midfield, and according to Daniele Longo, Milan have already identified the player that they wish to replace Musah with, as it’s reported that once that deal goes through, the Rossoneri could launch a bid to sign Guerra.
It’s added that the 22-year-old is open to the move and has shown a preference towards joining us over the competition, and so time will tell if the pieces begin to fall into place in the upcoming week.
Guerra has earned positive reviews after establishing himself as a key figure for Valencia last season, making 38 appearances across all competitions while contributing three goals and three assists to go with his overall influence in midfield for the La Liga side.
Further, he’s currently representing Spain U21s at the European Championship this summer, and so it would certainly seem as though he’s got a bright future ahead of him for club and country if he continues to improve and develop.
The next stage of that development could come at Milan based on the report above, but naturally the first domino has to fall with Musah’s exit, and then time will tell if Milan and Valencia can reach an agreement on a transfer fee for us to then successfully prise him away from the latter.
It promises to be a big summer for Milan across the board with Allegri moulding the squad into his own in his attempt to get us back to competing at the level we expect to be at and trying to win trophies again, but with significant changes seemingly happening in our midfield, that could be the point of focus in the coming weeks in the transfer window and it’s hoped that our recruitment is spot on.
