AC Milan will reportedly have a big decision to make on the future of Tijjani Reijnders amid interest from Manchester City.
The 26-year-old has firmly established himself as an influential figure in the side over the past two years, and he has taken a big step forward this year in particular with 15 goals and five assists in 52 appearances across all competitions.

With his energy, technical ability, tenacity and tactical intelligence all ensuring that he has emerged as one of our top performers on a consistent basis in this campaign despite it being such a disappointing and frustrating one overall, he has been one of the few highlights and positives to take from it.
However, it now appears as though we’re at risk of seeing him move on, as we’ll have to fend off interest from elsewhere if we wish to keep him beyond this season.
As per Fabrizio Romano, Man City are expected to make a formal offer to Milan for Reijnders when the season ends, and the Dutchman is said to be their main target for a key position to bolster Pep Guardiola’s squad, and so having set their sights on him, it could lead to a potential exit if the Rossoneri are open to talks.
Given Milan are likely to miss out on Champions League football, and perhaps Europe altogether at this stage, that will surely make our task of keeping Reijnders more complicated, both from a sporting and financial perspective.
With the uncertainty and turmoil that emanates from the top with our ownership and management structure failing to put us in a position to compete for major honours this year, right down to question marks over Sergio Conceicao’s future and the changes needed to this squad, it really is a concerning time for Milan fans.
Losing one of our best players certainly won’t help the situation, and so while there is still football to be played this season, particularly after our disastrous Coppa Italia final this week, the end of the campaign can’t come soon enough as we await major answers to serious problems at the club over the summer.
