AC Milan could reportedly welcome back Kyle Walker ahead of the second leg of our Coppa Italia semi-final tie against Inter next week.
The Rossoneri face our city rivals on Wednesday night with the tie finely poised at 1-1 after the first leg, and it’s hoped that Sergio Conceicao continues to move towards having as close to a fully fit squad available as possible.

Both Mike Maignan and Santiago Gimenez are expected to be available to face Atalanta this weekend in an important double boost as they’ve recovered from knocks, and it’s now been reported that the good news could continue in what is a crucial week in our campaign.
As reported by MilanNews, via La Gazzetta dello Sport, Walker is expected to be in contention to return from an elbow injury against the Nerazzurri, as it’s suggested that he’ll be left out against Atalanta as a precaution to avoid the risk of a potential setback.
The 34-year-old has made 12 appearances for us since joining from Manchester City on loan in the January transfer window, and so Conceicao will gladly welcome him back to the fold given his experience and quality will be crucial in the latter stages of the campaign.
Milan are expected to continue with a 3-4-3 system on Sunday night with Alex Jimenez operating at right wing-back, and so it will be interesting to see how we adjust once Walker is back in contention and the impact it has on our set-up as a whole.
For now though, the full focus is on Atalanta as we look to close the gap on our rivals in the battle for a top-four finish and subsequently to qualify for the Champions League next season.
Conceicao and the players will be desperate to win more silverware and so the Coppa Italia will be a key objective between now and the end of the campaign, but Milan simply can’t afford to slip-up and lose more ground in Serie A with just six games remaining.
