AC Milan ace Christian Pulisic has reflected on a positive debut season at the club, and has set his sights on major honours next year.
The 25-year-old arrived from Chelsea last summer and signed a contract until 2027, and despite his struggles in England, the expectation was that he would prove to be an important acquisition for the Rossoneri.

That’s what we saw last season as he bagged 15 goals and 11 assists in 50 appearances across all competitions, and although there was obvious disappointment and frustration as a collective given our underwhelming campaign, Pulisic’s form and impact was one of the bigger positives.
Naturally, the challenge for him moving forward will be to show consistency and build on his first year at Milan, but he insists that the trust shown in him from the Rossoneri was an important factor in rediscovering his best form, while he has big ambitions next season as he hopes to see us kick on and compete for silverware.
“I think before this there were two difficult seasons for me,” he told CBS Sports Golazo, as per Pianeta Milan. “Finally I was given an opportunity and I felt Milan’s trust from the start. I couldn’t wait to start and play in such a historic club. It’s nice to feel like myself again and show people that I can still do well.
“If we can aim for the championship next year? Yes, absolutely. I think this is the objective . Obviously what has just ended was a good season for me from a personal point of view, it’s a good feeling, but it’s not the most important thing for me. I think I’m never really satisfied. Our team hopes to have a little more consistency next season. I think we have a real chance because we have some very strong players.”
With Stefano Pioli’s departure confirmed, there will be significant changes at Milan this summer, and so Pulisic will hope to establish himself in the new coach’s plans and continue to be a key figure for us in the coming years.
After an impressive debut campaign in Italy and having shown he’s capable of adapting and dealing with the expectation and demands at the club and from the supporters, he’ll hopefully show that he still has improvement and gears to go through in order to become an even bigger influence and leading figure for us as we enter a new cycle, and hopefully a successful era with a new man at the helm.
