AC Milan have reportedly received a bid of around €8m for Jens Petter Hauge from Eintracht Frankfurt but our valuation is said to be higher.
The 21-year-old arrived from Bodo/Glimt just last year, and has contributed five goals and one assist in 24 appearances for the Rossoneri.

Frustratingly, he wasn’t given many opportunities by Stefano Pioli last season despite making a positive impact when introduced off the bench, and so there is disappointment that speculation continues to link him with an exit this summer.
As per Fabrizio Romano’s tweet below, Frankfurt have made an offer for the Norwegian ace in the region of €8m, but that is said to have fallen short of what Milan wish to receive in order to green light a departure.
However, talks are continuing between the two clubs and so it remains to be seen if they eventually reach an agreement for a transfer to take place.

Eintracht board also signed and completed all paperworks for Rafael Santos Borré – done deal, he joins as free agent.

As noted above, it would be bitterly disappointing if Milan opt to sell so early in Hauge’s spell with us, as what we’ve seen from him has been positive for the most part and ultimately he needs more playing time to show his talent and develop his game.
Perhaps Pioli has seen something in training that we haven’t to warrant not giving him more minutes, and the openness to sell is arguably another warning sign that we’re not privy to issues behind the scenes that hasn’t helped Hauge settle and establish himself.
Time will tell if a sale goes through, but if he continues to be left frustrated on the bench with a minimal impact for the team, perhaps the best solution for all parties concerned is to agree a sale and for Milan to reinvest that fee back into the squad to replace him.
