AC Milan have officially announced the signing of Fikayo Tomori from Chelsea on a permanent basis, and he’s signed a contract until 2025.
The 23-year-old made 22 appearances for the Rossoneri last season after joining on loan from Chelsea, with the deal including an option to buy.

Given his form, impressive impact and influence on the side which in turn helped us to secure a return to the Champions League after finishing second in Serie A, the English centre-half has evidently done enough to convince Milan management to keep him on by exercising that option.
As confirmed on the club’s site, Tomori has been signed permanently, while his contract will run until June, 2025.
The defensive ace becomes our second signing of the summer after Mike Maignan, and it’s another excellent piece of business from Milan given how impressive Tomori was last season.
Admittedly, he did suffer a blip in form along the way, but ultimately he earned Stefano Pioli’s faith and kept captain Alessio Romagnoli out of the side, while in turn forming a solid partnership with Simon Kjaer in the heart of the backline which was a major factor in our successful end to the campaign.
Tomori will now have the opportunity to build on that moving forward, and it’s hoped that he firmly establishes himself as a fundamental figure in our success in the future.
Milan’s work in the transfer window is far from done, but they have prioritised keeping Tomori at the club and will no doubt be delighted to have signed him outright.
