AC Milan have reportedly agreed on a fee with Chelsea which will see Fikayo Tomori join us on a permanent basis this summer.
The 23-year-old impressed during his loan spell with the Rossoneri last season, making 17 Serie A appearances as he kept captain Alessio Romagnoli out of the side in the latter stages of the campaign.

With Milan securing qualification for the Champions League, it was hoped that would give us a major boost in our attempt to sign the centre-half permanently, and it appears as though that might be the case.
As reported by MilanNews, discussions took place between the two clubs on Monday and an agreement has been reached on a fee of around €28m, while Tomori is now expected to put pen to paper on a long-term contract with Milan.
While Tomori did have a difficult spell of games after arriving in January, there is little doubt that he played a key role in tightening things up at the back for us as we became a lot more difficult to break down.
That was evidenced in the last five games of the season as we finished with five consecutive clean sheets in Serie A, which in turn was a significant factor in us securing second place in the standings.
Tomori’s aggressiveness, pace, physicality and reading of the game combined brilliantly with Simon Kjaer, and based on the report above, it appears as though the pair will have plenty more opportunities to continue to build a solid foundation for Stefano Pioli moving forward.
As per Fabrizio Romano, an announcement is expected soon while Tomori is being tipped to sign a five-year contract with Milan, as he’s set to become our second summer signing after the arrival of Mike Maignan from Lille last week.
