AC Milan are being tipped to complete the signing of Fikayo Tomori from Chelsea by the end of this week as a deal looks to be close.
The Rossoneri signed the 23-year-old on a loan deal in January, and he went on to make 22 appearances for us last season across all competitions.

Tomori emerged as a fundamental figure in the side over the course of the second half of the campaign, keeping captain Alessio Romagnoli out of the side while establishing a key partnership with Simon Kjaer in the heart of the defence.
That in turn was a crucial factor in our successful bid to secure a return to the Champions League, and so it’s no surprise that Milan are eager to keep him at the club for the long-term future.
As reported by Calciomercato, it’s suggested that a deal could be completed by Friday, which would see us pay €27m to sign him outright as agreed prior to his loan move, while Tomori is expected to put pen to paper on a five-year contract.
Time will tell if that comes to fruition, but it will no doubt be a huge boost for Milan if they can indeed secure Tomori and continue to build on his impressive form last season.
Should the England centre-half return, he would become our second signing this summer after Mike Maignan, as Stefano Pioli continues to try and maintain a strong defensive unit to build upon as we look to compete on multiple fronts next season.
Tomori, a surprise omission from the England squad for Euro 2020 given his form for us last season, will no doubt hope that the move continues to allow him to play regularly at the top level, and so it’s a move that arguably suits all parties concerned.
