AC Milan face Lazio on Sunday evening at San Siro, and Franck Kessie and Zlatan Ibrahimovic could both recover from injury to feature.
The Rossoneri have started the new Serie A campaign with consecutive wins having seen off Sampdoria and Cagliari, scoring five and conceding just once in the process.

Stefano Pioli hasn’t had a full squad to select from thus far though due to injuries, but the Milan boss could be handed a major double boost this weekend as we look to continue our positive start to the season.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Ibrahimovic has now recovered from the knee injury which has kept him sidelined since the latter stages of last season, and the Swedish stalwart could even be in line to start given Olivier Giroud is questionable having tested positive for Covid last week.
Time will tell which option Pioli goes with, but to have the experience and quality of Ibrahimovic back at his disposal will no doubt be a great relief.
Further, La Gazzetta dello Sport also note that Kessie is expected to recover from his injury blow and will be available this weekend, but given he only returned to group training on Tuesday afternoon, it remains to be seen if he’s risked against Lazio given his lack of playing time and full training in recent weeks.
Nevertheless, with the fixture schedule becoming increasingly hectic this month as the Champions League also gets underway, having key players return to the fold will be hugely important for Milan and Pioli, and it’s hoped that both Ibrahimovic and Kessie can get minutes in their legs this weekend to help continue their comeback.
Should neither start, that should mean Sandro Tonali will look to continue to impress in midfield alongside Ismael Bennacer, while Rafael Leao and Ante Rebic will be options up top if both Ibrahimovic and Giroud are ruled out.
