AC Milan are reportedly expected to be without Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Olivier Giroud for the encounter with Venezia on Wednesday night.
The Rossoneri will be looking to get back to winning ways in midweek after we secured a draw away at Juventus at the weekend, which followed a defeat at Anfield against Liverpool in the Champions League last week.

With Venezia struggling at the wrong end of the table, it’s hoped that it’s an opportune moment for us to find our winning touch, but it appears as though Stefano Pioli won’t have a full-strength squad at his disposal yet again.
As per MilanNews, via Sky Sport Italia, Giroud is expected to be missing due to a back problem he sustained in the loss at Liverpool, which in turn subsequently forced him to miss the draw with the Bianconeri on Sunday.
Ibrahimovic is already sidelined with an Achilles’ tendon problem which has seen him sit out the last few games too, and so Pioli’s options up front are limited once more.
Ante Rebic will likely lead the line, while it’s hoped that Pietro Pellegri is close to being in a position to get minutes and to showcase his quality as we need to rest and rotate key players in the coming weeks to avoid burn out.
Rebic has played significantly minutes over the last few weeks, and with Rafael Leao also featuring throughout on the left wing, Milan are sticking with the same players over a hectic schedule.
Further, it’s hoped that both Ibrahimovic and Giroud can return as soon as possible, as given the experience and quality that they bring to the squad, they will be vital to our chances of success both in Serie A and in Europe.
